data deletion

You can delete your yanto account and every piece of data associated with it at any time. Deletion covers your saves (including transcripts, summaries, tags, thumbnails, and embeddings), your conversation history, your memories and profile, reminders, Spaces, and your channel links (phone number, Instagram, TikTok).

option 1 — text the bot

Message “delete my account” to yanto from any channel you use it on (iMessage, Instagram DM, or TikTok DM). The bot will confirm the request and deletion will be completed within 30 days.

option 2 — email us

Email hello@yanto.app with the subject “data deletion request” from an address you can verify, and include the phone number or Instagram/TikTok username your account is tied to. We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days.

what happens

• All personal data listed above is permanently deleted from our production databases.
• Stored media (thumbnails and cached files) is purged from object storage.
• Copies in encrypted backups expire on their normal rotation cycle (up to 30 days).
• Deletion is irreversible — your saves, memories, and chat history cannot be recovered.

partial deletion

You can also delete individual saves from the web dashboard or by asking the bot, or ask the bot to forget specific memories, without deleting your whole account.
