terms of service

These terms govern your use of yanto — the messaging bots, the web app at yanto.app, the API, and the MCP endpoint (together, the “service”). By texting the yanto number, messaging our bot accounts, or using the web app, you agree to these terms.

what yanto is

yanto is a personal memory assistant. You send it links and messages; it analyzes the content you share and builds a private, searchable library with an AI assistant you can ask about it. The service is currently invite-gated and offered as-is while in active development.

your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your local law requires).
• Your account is tied to your phone number and any linked Instagram or TikTok account. Keep control of those channels; anyone who can message from them can use your account.
• You are responsible for the content and links you send to the service.

acceptable use

• Use yanto only for personal, lawful purposes.
• Do not use the service to infringe others’ rights, to redistribute platform content commercially, to harass anyone, or to probe, overload, or disrupt our systems.
• Do not attempt to access another person’s account or circumvent invite gating, rate limits, or security measures.

content and rights

The links you save point to content owned by its creators and hosted by its platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and others). yanto processes that content to create your personal saves — transcripts, summaries, tags, and thumbnails — for your private, personal use only. You retain rights to the messages and content you send us; you grant us the limited license needed to operate the service for you (process, store, and display your saves back to you). We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms or platform policies.

messaging consent

By messaging yanto first, you consent to receive replies, and to the reminders and digest messages you configure. Message and data rates may apply. Text “stop” anytime to stop proactive messages, or delete your account entirely.

pricing

The core service is currently free. If we introduce paid tiers, pricing will be shown clearly before you are charged, and these terms will be updated.

disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated summaries and answers can be wrong — verify anything important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

termination

You can stop using yanto and delete your data at any time (see data deletion instructions). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: hello@yanto.app.
